Calendar competition
Three years ago Lambes oil started a photographic competition for a calendar. The competition was open to all abilities. As a club, we encouraged our members to enter. Over the past 3 years we have seen many of our members photos chosen for the calendar. Each year we have had more club members photos chosen. In 2017 we had 3 members who’s photos were selected, in 2018 we had 4 members who were successful and this year 2019 we have 8 members whose photos were selected! This is fantastic for our members and for our club. Well done to Lambes oil for providing such a fantastic opportunity for everyone to enter such a great competition. It was been great to see so many wonderful pictures chosen for the calendar throughout the years.
Below are the selection of winning pictures from the 2019 Lambes oil Calendar from Tullamore Camera Club members.

The Legendary by Rosemary Cummins

Reflections by Mary Theresa Clancy
Mary Theresa and a few Tullamore Camera Club colleagues headed out one afternoon along the banks of the Grand Canal. One of the oldest lockes on the canal is Bolands Locke. The house has been renovated in the last couple of years and is one of the focal points of the canal. The canal appeared to mirror the reflection of the Locke House and boats. Mary Theresa was delighted with her shot.

Sunset over Lough Ennell by Joan McKenna
On a warm summers evening Tullamore Camera Club organised a Sunset shoot at the rear of Bloomfield House Hotel. The hotel is on the shores of Lough Ennell and they have constructed a pier which makes for a wonderful platform for photos.

Bride and Groom by Pauline Stronge
While travelling to the Tullamore to Birr road, Pauline noticed the bales arranged to look like a bride and groom. As the camera is never too far away, she turned around and took the shot. The farmer did all the hard work to have the bride and groom looking happy and Pauline in turn took this wonderful photo.

Cabin by the lake by Philomena Brady
November 2019
Twilight falls by Martina Martin
This is a wonderful photo of Tullamore Train Station. Martina and another camera club colleague had actually set out to try and capture movement. Martina captured the tranquility of the station before the arrival of the train and the hustle and bustle of the evening rush hour.

A brave Lambes oil truck fighting through Storm Emma to keep us all warm, a fantastic capture by one of our new members Mark Saxby
